send email but can not recieve

I have a problem connecting the imail server and I can not receive emails but I can send them, what could be the problem?

Task 'MBK-Email - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
