Here is a msg from one of our users, is there a work around for this?
"Here is another significant problem with Lotus. I regularly get emails that I need to forward to another staff member as the original email or other staff needs to send me those messages. In Outlook all one had to do was right click on the message in the inbox and forward as an attachment. This process allowed the sender to communicate with the staff recipient by writing a message in the "carrier" email, but not have that message appear in the body of the original email. Thus the original email could be opened and directly responded to by whomever it was assigned.
Below is an example of someone forwarding me an email for response. Note a couple of things: first, that it was not done as an attachment thus Person A's text now appears and will need to be removed when I respond; second, there is no easy way to respond to the original email. That is to say that no hyperlink exists for the persons email address nor can I figure another way to respond automatically (Recall in Outlook that all you had to do was click on a persons name to have an email start.). What I am now forced to do for my reply is to copy and paste the email address to a new email, copy and paste the text and then type and send my response. Thus Lotus takes two or three times the amount of work to set up, much less send, a response as Outlook did."
