I am writing a script to issues command however I don't want people to see the command being used passwords ip address etc.

So is there a way to turn off echo so commands do not echo back to the screen.

don't know if this is possible so any help would be great th4nks

Why cant you connect directly and make the changes? Why would you be launching the script on someones machine you dont trust.

it is not I don't trust I just don't want them to see passwords I am using
I can do this myself without any problems. Just want to have some guys run this script.

If there is a way to disable echo for commands I am in business.

thanks for your concern

I don't know of a way to do that on a switch or router. You might check your emulator and see if there is a way .
