Send Command from Local Client to Citrix Session

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me or at least point me in the right direction?

I would like to send a command to open a file within a user's Citrix session, from their local client PC desktop.

In effect, it would be like Content Redirection, but the reverse way round.

I would be prepared to write scripts or whatever is needed to accomplish this... Any ideas?
