Hi, and thanks for reading this question.

I have a customer that has Nortel 81c and Syposium. For our call recording software we use CTI to trigger start stop etc, that part works great. The software can also capture DNIS for filtering calls etc, but there is no info there.

The customer pulled a call report from Symposium and it shows the DNIS as blank and the number we NEED is labeled CDN.

Is it possible to send the CDN to us through DNIS? How would the customer do this?

Thanks!

I assume that the symposium is routing on CDN i.e. in the master script it says WHERE CDN EQUALS etc.

If you want DNIS stats then you will need to route on DNIS i.e. in the master script it will say WHERE DNIS EQUALS etc.

To do this you will need to set DNIS to yes on the DDI/DID route feeding the symposium. Each DNIS number will need to be ICD to an aqcuired CDN. And finally the DNIS numbers will need to be configured in the Symposium.

Probably adding the DNIS with a name to Symposium is enough to 'make the DNIS known'.
Go to (FAT or web-client) Configuration, DNIS add the DNIS-Number+Name.
