Send automated signed/encrypted email using VB 1

Does any know the best route to take when sending an automated signed/encrypted email using VB 6. I have to connect to a Microsoft Exchange server (currently 5.5. but soon to move to Exchange 2003). I know that currently if you use the CDO option it brings up a pop-up window with the message:

A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf.

As the program we run is not monitored I need to find a work around to this problem plus a way to at least sign the email message.
