Send an e-mail from a flash website

Hi.

Say I have a flash website. Is it possible to create a form a user can fill and then send that info as an e-mail to the webmaster's e-mail account? Can I do this using only flash? Does the website domain require anything specific, like database/php support? If I require anything besides Flash, can you give me any hints on how to achieve this?

If you want the mail to be automatically sent, when the user presses the send button, you need server side scripting (such as PHP...) to be available & enabled on your server...

Alternately, with Flash alone, you can use mailto, which will open the user's default mail application, but you'll then have to rely on the user sending the mail...

I suppose that using flash alone, I can't define parameters such as the e-mail's subject or automatically add attachments?

Sure...
Had a site with a good tutorial, but they're updating the tutorials and that mailto one hasn't been updated yet and in unavailable...

But attached you'll find the 3 versions of it... I believe 2 of them (2-3), will fill in the subject and even message body... But doubt it about attachments...
