My Company have several Branches. Every day (in the evening) the branches must send data (sales records and else) to main office using CD-Rom media. Before I input the data to the computer, I must select dan sort the data. The data that I can input to computer (in Main office)just only sales records today not the day before. Is there any easy way for me to do my work (not need to select and sort the data first. Thank you

You can automate the 'importing' of your daily file, yes.

A generic template for this sort of thing goes like:

1. Backup existing MDB file that you'll be importing into.

2. Import <your-filename> to a temporary table. Use a saved import specification.

3a. Run UPDATE queries to format the data more to your liking, OR
3b. Create a set of queries that formats the data more to your liking,

4. Move contents of temporary table (or formatted query) to permanent table.

5. DELETE * FROM temp-table

6. Compact database

All of the above (or most) can be put into a macro, so you can double-click on the macro and go swim some laps in the Olympic-sized swimming pool while it works.
