Send & Receive emails work but cannot send to specific Email Gateway

I'm fairly new to this game and was given the task to look after a site.

The problem I'm experiencing is we can send and receive emails but I cannot send to a specific email gateway. We used to be able to send emails to the following email address (xmlsms@gateway.saratoga.co.za) and the message gets delivered to your mobile phone (this is a sms/text messaging gateway).

I did a nslookup on the gateway and get the following:
Name: smokey.saratoga.co.za
Address: 209.203.61.27
Aliases: gateway.saratoga.co.za

I can ping and tracert the IP from another Domain but cannot ping or tracert from the Domain that is having this issue.

Your help and input would be greatly appreciated.
