Send alarms by email?

Hi. Anyone knows if Is it possible to send alarm by mail?

I tried to config the snmptrapd in the S87XX server but I need the password of root. Is the root password only for Avaya?

I took another route. I use a PC that stays logged in (but locked) and Avaya Site Administration running (ASA). I have ASA check the CM server for alarms every so often and if there are alarms, it emails me.

We use exactly the same setup, it monitors to alarms, trunk status and a few other thinks.

Very simple, just setup ASA scheduled reports and in the notification tab input the email you want alerts to be sent to.
