When I try to send a report by email, the Access 2000 give me an error message saying that it can't open an email session.
The problem only occurs in Access, in Word or Excel I can send a document by email without any problems.
What type of e-mail are you using? I had a simular problem once. I had to make sure that my e-mail package was open when I would try to send something. If it was closed, I would get an error. Eventually, I reformatted my computer and reinstalled everything and the problem went away. I am not sure what caused it.
I have the same problem. Access looks for Outlook. I use AOL because my wife likes it. So When I try to email a report I get an error message and outlook pops up and asks to make it the default email program. To work around this I print the report to file and email the attachment.
