Send a record from MS Access to a Word Document and open Word

I'm trying to send a record from MS Access to a Word Document and open the Word document from MS Access.

Could anybody point me in the right direction.

You have to open the Word document first. You have to create an instance of Word, and then open the file you want to do something with.

Look up CreateObject. Compare with GetObject. A lot depends on whether you need to use late-binding, or if you can use early-binding.
