send a call directly to voice mail without ringing station 1

From a single line phone, how do I send a call direcetly to voicemail without ringing the station? Is there a code, can I send it to a hunt group? (We already have coverage paths set up to go to an agents station & then to voice mail. If the agent answers we would like to have the agent send the call directly to voice mail, not back to the call coverage group.) Thanks for any replies.

If you want that call to a "group voicemail" you can set up a VDN for it.

In the vector say "messaging split XX (voicemail huntgroup) for extension XXXX (group voicemail).

The call then will go to the box you want.

Also look at the feature code "tranfer into Audix" to put calls directly to voicemail.

find out what your Audix transfer number is.
What you then do is dial this number, when you hear welcome to audix dial the mailbox number and release/transfer.
