Semi Transparent Fireworks 8 Dropdowns?

I have fireworks 8 and I am trying to make the dropdowns semi transparent. I tried installing an extension from Victor new_dreamworl.cfm but it says that I need to have Fireworks 8. Well I do.

Anyone know of another way that I can make my drop downs semi transparent?
