Hello,

I built my website by hand in HTML, several years ago. I've upgraded to CSS, and now need to teach myself JavaScript. I've studied the Dummies book and I've been through the tutorial at I'm also familiar with Transcript and HyperTalk, scripting languages vaguely similar to JavaScript.

I'm sort of getting it, sort of not. Clearing up a few details would be very helpful, but I don't know anyone I can ask.

Is it okay if I ask a few questions here?

Thanks,

Tim

Sure it's ok to ask, I just think the main thing is not to bombard everyone with a LOT of questions per post.
It's too much to respond to, at least according to me. I'm new to the site too for the most part, though I work with someone on the MVP list, so I've seen this site for a while now.

Have a look at faq222-2244. Although it relates directly to the VB6 forum, all the general guidelines are equally applicable to all the other forums, including this one.
