I'm using SSAS 2005 Standard Edition. I've got some calculations to create some semi-additive measures. They're basically beginning and ending amounts (non-additive over time). Query performance is OK until I include sub-totals and totals in my MDX report generator, wherein my report takes over one minute to run.

I'm not an MDX expert by any means. I've used the following article for help in designing my calculation code.

Any help would be appreciated.
