I keep getting this stupid "semaphore timeout" error on my Win 2k machine, attempting to go through a winNT PDC through to my RedHat 6.2 server. I then found the solution:
"You can alter the time-out value by using regedt32 to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Rdr\Parameters

Add Value name ConnectMaxTimeout, a type REG_DWORD, and set it to the number of seconds, in decimal.

You will need to shutdown and restart for this setting to take effect. "

But on mine win2k machine, there is no Rdr subdir in the reg. Any ideas on where I should be looking to set this parameter? Thanks so much!
