Hi everyone,

I've created an internal SSL certificate for OWA access on the network which works fine. I now want to go live via the internet and i was just wondering if anyone knows how i should go about this bearing in mind I'm using an ISP for external DNS.

If the ISP create an A record such as webmail.domain.com and open port 443 should that do the trick or do i have to create another certificate with the common name set to Webmail.domain.com?

At present the cpmmon name for the certificate is ServerX.domain.local.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Yeah you'll need a cert for it's external common name otherwise people accessing your OWA via the Internet will get a cert validity pop-up warning saying the name doesn't match.
