Hello, I was wondering if any of you know of any good websites on how to start your own consulting business? Exactly how much do I charge for certain work? Do I do flat fees or hourly? I am here bored at work and doing some major/serious thinking on how to use my skills to make extra income. All your feedback and ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

You charge what the market will bear. I personally get frustrated that so many of my competitors undercharge.
What are your specific skill sets? Find out who your direct competition would be, then find out what they charge. You may even consider subcontracting to them to get going in the early months, I know I did.
