Good afternoon all,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Self Encrypting Solid State Drives? I just had a few delivered to me for testing purposes, but there is surprisingly little documentation on how to get them to work.

A link to the drives I have is here:
I've been browsing the Micron site, the Trusted Computing Group, and others for info... but have come up short handed so far.

In what aspect can you not get them to work? Not seen by BIOS/motherboard? Not encrypting?

"You don't know what you got, till its gone..
80's hair band Cinderella or ode to data backups???

The drives are recognized by the BIOS just fine - I can install an OS and otherwise press them in to service.

I was just wondering how I go about enabling encryption.

I find it odd the supplier can't tell you ...
