Self closing HtmlGenericControl

Hi all

I'm writing a composite server control that adds some children that aren't available in the HtmlControls or WebControls namespaces so I am using HtmlGenericControl to create the child controls and adding those to the server control. Some of these I would like to be self-closing (e.g like an img or br tag) but can;t find a way to make this happen. Any ideas?
