Selector Code to Group Transfer? 1

Hello,

Is is possible when using the Auto-Attendant on the Partner Mail PC Card to have one of the selector codes transfer to a group of extensions? Basically, we want one of the options to allow callers to transfer out to just the cashiers who would be in a group. Can this be done? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joel,
Yup, it's easy. Put the extensions in a calling group (1-4). Set the selector code in the voice mail to transfer to ext 71, 72, 73 or 74, depending on the group the phones are in (1,2,3 or 4). I would recommend that group 1 be reserved for an all page (I *70 or I *71), the first choice will activate a paging amp too if present.
