Hello,
Can anybody help me with this scenario, please?
I have a private LAN with 20 workstations and one server, running AD, DNS, DHCP and RRA to an ADSL router.
There is another private LAN to which mine isn't connected, but it has a server on it offering up a web-nased VLE (moodle). At present, my only connection to this server from the first private LAN is via the internet, which is very slow...
What I'd like to do is set up routing between these two LANs, so that my private LAN can access the internal front-end of the moodle server. However, I need to make sure that that is all that can be accessed from my private LAN. I need to sort of set up RRA to allow only a specific IP address and then do something clever with my DNS, I think.
Has anybody got any ideas? I'm still haveing trouble getting my head around exactly what I'm trying to do, to be honest, so even concepts would be handy at this point
Thanks,
Paul
