Selection or Group Selection Formula

I am using Crystal Reports 7.0. I inserted 3 sub reports in main report. All the links between the subreports are working fine.
Now I want to pass the selection formula for main report, if i pass the formula in crystal reports, it is working fine. but if i pass the selection formula or group selection formula through VB 6.0 It gives me the error.

My report is working fantastic but due to this problem i am stucked.
Please help me.

Hi !
It was giving me the error....
Run-Time error '20515';
error in formula <record_selection>
;
The remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula.

I have solved my problem myself.
By inserting the subreport all the group sequences of main report & sub report should be same.

Am i right ?
