Selection based on the CurrentCEUserName

Hello Everyone!

Using CrystalREports XI r2 ,Business Objects Enterprise and SQLServer2005.

I'm trying to restrict the record selection based on who is logged in.

Which is the bestway to do it.

Hi,
Add a test in the record selection formula:

If CurrentCEUserName = 'whatever' then
somefield = something
else
if CurrentCEUserName = 'someother' then
someotherfield = somthingelse





To Paraphrase:"The Help you get is proportional to the Help you give.."

Thank you Turkbear That's what i did and for some reason it didn't work when i directly used the CurrentCEUserName in the record selection formula.
When i run the report it just keeps going never comes with the results.

Then i created a formula with the CurrentCEUserName and used that in my RecordSelection formula it works great.
