I have a report which prints outstanding orders by customer in version 10 of crystal, I want to change the report to allow the user to specify a range of customers to be printed. Is it possible to have the range default to the first and last records ie similar to *lo Values *hivalues in cobol ?

Assuming this is an alphanumeric field, have the default values at '00000000' and 'ZZZZZZZZ'. The user will then have to be smart enough to pick '00000000' as the beginning of the range and 'ZZZZZZZZ' as the end of the range.

Alternatively, set the default value as 'ALL' and then modify your record selection formula accordingly:

If {?CustRange}='ALL' then true
else {CustomerNumber} in {?CustRange}
