selecting no printer reduces the work area

Hi all ,

I have a large report about 70 columns. At the start I did not select the no printer option on the rt click/page set up and chose size D paper.

Now if I select no printer option it reduces the work area of report (mean design tab) to a letter size but preview does show all the data across to 70 columns. Is there a way to keep the work area(i.e design tab) the same. That is, selecting No printer should not deacrese the size in design tab.
