Hi i have a form where customer names are shown as they type in. EG as I type A it will start to show Andrew blah blah blah The names for the form are in a table of customers names.

I now want to write a query so you can list all records for a given customer BUT when I run my current Query at present you have to type the customers name "exactly" for the records to show. If you miss a letter it does just to show the customer at all how do I solve this so as they appear as you start to type (like the way of the orginal input on the form)??

in the wher clause add 'LIKE"

something like :) :

WHERE tblCustomers.FirstName LIKE

HTH << MaZeWorX >> "I have not failed I have only found ten thousand ways that don't work" <<Edison>>

cheers MazeWorX i'll give it a try Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you. :)
