How can I design my form to select multiple values from a combo box? For example, I have a trouble database and have an 'issue type' combo box where I can only select one value. I would like to select multiple values separating them with like a comma or semi-colon.

Are you expecting to bind these values to a field in a table? If so, this is considered by most experienced developers to be a bad practice.

If you want to allow storing multiple "issue types" for each "trouble" record then you should create a related table that has one record for each trouble/issue type pair.

If you are using the multi-select to filter a form or report, you may need to change the control from a combo box to a list box which can be set to multi-select.

Another option is to use Access 2007 which implements multi-valued fields.

Thanks for the info. We are on 2007 so I'll check that out.
