Does anybody know what event is handled the second somebody selects a date from a date/time picker?
Its not Value_changed.

Value_changed is fired. I can only presume you have either not changed the value from its original value, or you have somehow overridden the event.
See if Validated works for you. This will fire before focus is lost.

Hi Jenny
1)ValueChanged event fires when the Value property changes
but if the value property doesn't change it will not fire
check
2) CloseUp event it fires when the Cander of datepicker is closing
