Hi there

I'm currently using Crystal 9 and require a formula that will select records that fall in to the companys current and previous financial years. The financial year runs from 1st Nov to 31st Oct, so initially the report would need to look at records dated from 01/11/06 to 31/10/2008. However, rather than just put this criteria in through select expert I need a formula that would roll over when the new and subsequent financial years began. So in a years time on the 1st of Nov the report would stop looking at the time period 01/11/20006 to 31/10/2008 and start looking at the time period 01/11/2007 to 31/10/2009.

I've tried the following formula in the past but it did not roll over in to the new year so whjen I run the report now it doesn't pick up anything from 01/11/2007:

{talbe.date} in date ({@Fiscal Year}-2,11,1) to date ({@Fiscal Year},10,31)

where @Fiscal Year is Year (Currentdate)

Any ideas how this can be achieved?

Regards

Rob

Your fiscal year formula should be:

year({table.date}+61)
