I have a report that is grouped first on an item number and then grouped on location(s).

In many instances, I have two locations for one item.

However, I want to bring some of this data into the GH1 section.

For the locations we may have a permanent(P) location or a temporary(T) location. Or some variations of that. Possibly more than one of each.

I would like it to return information from first (P) location that it finds and pull into the group header 1 field.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Ryan

What determines what it is the first P location? You can sort by the status field (perm, temp) ascending, and then place the location field in the GH1, but if there are more than one P locations, you need to be able to define what makes the first P location first--or maybe it doesn't matter?

Actually...I'm good if I can sort inside the group without changing the group.

How would I go about doing that? It'll only give me one option in the group sort expert?

Your help is always appreciated Lbass!

Thanks,
Ryan

Nevermind...dumb question and figured it out...
