Selecting a range of products

Hi I am setting up a report for my products and I want to be able to select a range between product numbers. What formula would I use in my select expert, my product database is PRODUCTS.PROD_CODE

For example I would like to list all products between
A-ns200 and a-ns500, the range woudl be different each time.

Create a parameter called product range, and make sure that "Allow Range Values" is true.

Then your selection critera becomes

PRODUCTS.PROD_CODE = {?Product Range}

This may also be a good place to use a dynamic parameter, so that your product codes are displayed in a dropdown to select from. This would depend on factors such as the quantity of products, how often new products are added, and if there is some hierarchical grouping to the products.
