selecting a firewall

hello everyone

i need to find some firewalls, now i dont know much about firewalls other than what their main purpose is, so would anyone be able to tell me what firewalls i should consider for about 50 users?

The "big three" are CheckPoint Firewall-NG, Cisco PIX, and Netscreen's line. There are a few others of course, but start with these three as they are the most prevalent in IT shops these days.
