We put together a page with a gridview control on it and put a command button in the first column to use to execute the selectedindexchanged event. This event executes a series of code.

The program works fine on regular IE on a PC and on a few mobile devices but our Blackberry users, then entended audience, can't seem to get it to work. When they click on the button nothing happens.

Has anyone else seen something similar and more importantly is there a fix or work-around?

I have been working on a mobile application recently and have run into many obsticals. If you are putting a gridview on the page, then you are not using a "Mobile Web Form". When you are targeting a mobile device other than say an iPhone or the Newest Blackberry, then you should use this type of form. It does things behind the scenes that help it render correctly to the mobile device. The controls are limited when using mobile forms, and I know gridviews are not available. There is probably some sort issue (possibly javascript) when doing the post back that is causing the problem because it is not a mobile form.

Thanks for the response. I'm not very familiar with mobile web forms and so will probably have our IT contractor step in.

Thanks again.

Do some reseach. You will find examples, but it is different in ways from web forms. They resemble windows forms programming in some ways.
