Select Word Document to Mailmerge 1

I have a routine set up to mailmerge a recordsetfrom Access 97 to Word 97 and works ok. What I want to do is choose one from a selection of word documents to merge with. I have the word documents set in a seperate directory.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

dear dliddell,

you can use the dir vb-function to scan the directory.

and then use the word.application.documents.open method.
