Hello,

I am working on a report that need to take the entire row of information containing the max(Eff Date)

03322000 6/1/07 16.5 16.5 0 CS BX
03322000 10/1/07 16.5 17.33 0.05 CS BX
03322000 3/3/08 17.33 17.33 0 CS BX
03322000 10/15/08 17.33 19.43 0.12 CS BX

So, in this example I would only want to display the bottom row of information. We have been able to get the item with just the max(Eff Date) but we still have repeats of the other information. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Build a variable that is defined as "max([Eff Date]) in ([id])"

I'm assuming ID is the first column. Then build another variable, "if (max([Eff Date]) in ([id])) = [Eff Date] then 1 else 0"

Then add a filter to the report so that only the 1s are shown.

I'm never sure this stuff will work, but it's worth a try.
