Select record from a query in ASP page

Hi every body,

I would like to select a record(access database)in the result from a query in a asp page.
When the record is selected i would like to click on a button to send the value of this record to another application (Procomm script for example).

Right now my asp page and my query are working fine the only things that i need is the portion of selecting the record and pass the value to an application.


Any help will be very appreciate.

Dan,

Have you considered using ASP's File System Object to regenerate the procomm script file ?? Since it is a text file, you can program ASP to rewrite the script with the values sent from the select list..

Hi ToddWW,

No i don't have consider this, because i'm really new in the ASP world. My asp files was created with Frontpage with the help of MS access and with this very useful site.

I don't have any backgroung in programming i'm only a smart person!!!!!
