It would be great if Illustrator had a select fearture which lets you to select eg everything in a certain spot colour, or anythng CMYK, or RGB etc.
It's frustration trying to convert clip art which is made up of heaps of different cmyk stokes and fills into single colour PMS only to find out in the Seperation Setup that there is still some CMYK in it........somewhere........

Do you mean something like this?

Select same fill colour on a spot colour WILL only match other spot colours even if there is a process colour that is identical!

sort of, I think it's more like a search for any colour in eg. CMYK so I can convert it to PMS without having to select every element to see if it contains CMYK.
So I will know that there isn't going to be any hidden colour which should'nt be there. If that makes any sence?
