1. Set your ddl's autopostback property to True
2. On the ddl's SelectedIndexChanged event, have code that will do a lookup based on the doctor's ID (assuming you have it set up so that the doctor's have an ID, and its a foreign key to the patient's table) and fill the datagrid.
