select file dialog box on 6i form running on web

Can anyone give me any ideas about how to implement a select file dialog box? Im running 6i forms on 9ias, not client server. I need to allow the user to browse to a location based on the UNC name of the server and share and select a file.

any suggestions would be appreciated...

Hi,
In client server you must have used D2KWUTIL.pll to show Open File Dialog box.
Similarily make use of WEBUTIL.pll on you web forms to achieve the same.

Ive been looking at the d2kwutil/webutil stuff, but havnt got any good documentation yet.

I also looked at the bean stuff, but i dont know anything about that either so Id be starting from scratch trying to learn beans...

In fact webutil is Oracle own implementation of bean technique, so I'd suggest you to follow Himanshu advice.
