Select Expert - To Specify Selection of Records

Has anyone tried using the Select Expert in a Main Report that includes a SubReport in CE 9 using Sybase 12.x?

For example:

1884 5= CKC_MISC
1885 5= CKC_MISC

shows data for all initials having values "CKC", "MDK" etc...

If the Main Report has to show data for all initials = "CKC" I believe I can use the Select Expert. I haven't tried it

Any suggetions?

Difficult post to follow.

Try supplying technical information:

Example data (as in what's in the tables)
Expected output

Not even sure why you're using subreports, where they are, what they are to return, etc.

You can individually edit the record selection formulas for subreports or the main report by selecting Report->Edit Selection Formula->Record from within wither the main report or from within the subreport if that helps.

I never use the Select Expert these days.

I've a very vague notion of what you're asking for.
