I set up a condition in the select expert, Crystal Reports V9. Very simply, field date <= parameter date. For some reason it filters out most of the dates that are > the parameter date but it returns 2 dates that are > the parameter date. Anyone have any ideas? I'm stuck.

Please post technical infomation rather than descriptions:

Include everything that's in the Report->Selection Formulas->Record

and what's in the Database->Show SQL Query

In general people will get quick, accurate results by posting:

Crystal version (you did, thanks)
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output

Ok, sorry I'm new to tech forums can you tell? Next time around I will include all that info. I found away around the issue by creating an extra formula.

Makes no sense...

In general the idea here is to share information, so when a solution is found, it should help others to post what you had, and how you resolved.

I have never heard of the select expert doing what you state, so that's why it would be useful for you to post information.

SV is correct, you should share your findings with the rest of us, so we can learn from it.
