Why is it that when you include Control Structures (IIF, If/then/else) in the formula section of the Select Expert that it's very,very so to return the results.
The key to performance is what makes it into the SQL statement of the report. These features don't usually convert into SQL. IIF does in many environments, if-then-else does not.
If you know SQL you can write your own WHERE clasue in the "Database-Show SQL" window. Just don't try changing the SELECT clause. Ken Hamady
