Select Combo Box top of all layers

Select form element top of all layers. How to solve this?

If i place a select item or a combo box even with Z-index very low, it is placed top of all layers.

Suggest you have a read of this article which explains a lot about z-indexes in IE, which should give you an idea of how to proceed (possibly using iframes).

Hi BillyRayPreachersSon ,

It works very fine when i use iframe. But I dont want to use iframe.

In a table, i freeze the header row, below that next row i place a combobox. This combobox overlaps the header row even after setting the z-index of header row greater.

I just need to do without iframe.

Sorry, that is pretty much the standard solution for IE until IE7 comes out. But you're welcome to try and find your own workaround, let us know how it turns out.
