HEY Guys,

I saw a site with a <select ... that the top line allowed text input. I couldn't figure it out from the source. Can anyone help with this?

thanks

Are you sure it wasn't an Applet with a combo box?

From what I could tell it was DHTML and Javascript. I was going to post the link but I lost it! OK, I'll go look for the link and someone else can look for the solution.

Thanks

you can try using my ComboBox widget. It currently only supports IE5+. It was coded to work with mozilla, but I don't expect it to actually work with mozilla until mozilla 1.0 comes out:

THANKS Jaredn,

That is exactly what I was looking for. I wish it was a little more cross-browser but that's the browsers fault not yours. By the way, that's a great site.
