I don't think this is possible but maybe it is so I will ask.
I have a select box where the average option is about 9 characters. I set the size with "style="width:200;" but there is a few options that are about 20 characters. I don't care if the options are cut of when the larger option is selected but they are cut off when the box is expanded, never allowing the user to view all the text. I don't want to make the box bigger due to the layout. Is there any way to make the window that drops down bigger than the select box itself?
