select box - drop down list 1

hi all!

does anyone know how i can allow a user to automatically expand a drop down list (html select element) by using a key instead of them having to click by mouse?

Hi,

I am not sure why you want this so this solution might not do..

Use tab to move between the fields and hightlight the select. ALT and down arrow to expand the menu. Enter to select.

If this is not what you want tell us more details of what senario this will be used in..
