segment xml file

HI

I need to segment a xml file. I am not familiar with xml. The current file is 33mb. The file consists of many products(That have a product id) with descriptions of various lengths.

Does any one know of a program that can open and segment the file. Once work has been caried out on the segment, I need to recreate the single file.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
