I would like to have a track playing when my website index page is loaded into a browser. When the user moves to another page I want to avoid the track stopping and starting again.

Is the only way to use frames (i.e. a constant frame througout the website with the sound embeded) or can Flash mx provide a clever alternative?

Thanks

do you 1.want the sound to stop when the user moves on or 2.continue playing without restarting.

for 1. when user moves to another page attach stopAllSounds() to the button code.

for 2. have the sound in an fla of its own and load the index page and all subsequent swf into the sound file. this way the sound always plays just the screen content changes.
